Here are details about the first night of the bachelorette party FRIDAY- SEPTEMBER 23, 2011
We will get started Friday night at Rhianna's apartment in Lake Forest, Orange County.
You can arrive at 8:00pm or any time thereafter for a fun filled sleep-over! We will be having girl talk and playing silly games. No dress code for this first night of fun so just come in what ever feels right and bring pajamas and a sleeping bag/blankets if available to you.
We will be leaving Orange County and driving down south to SAN DIEGO (about an hour and a half away) at 10:30 am on Saturday morning! We want to car pool as much as possible, so if you can't make it Friday night but want to join for the drive down to SD, please be ready to go by 10:30am on Saturday! It will undoubtedly be a fun drive down so I hope everyone can join.
Our first SAN DIEGO destination is the POWAY RODEO!!! www. powayrodeo.com.
We will be spending the afternoon at the rodeo, helping Rhianna get in that honky tonk mood and so she can feast her eyes on some real cowboys before she ropes in her partna for life. We will be staying at the rodeo from around noon to 3pm. We will get food at the rodeo (street vendor style). If you live near Poway and want to me us at the rodeo that's great! Just let us know and we'll make sure to set-up a meet up spot and time. The DRESS CODE for the rodeo is just in the theme of RODEO. So, denim is always appreciated. Please AVOID WHITE items so we can give that distinction to Rhianna. Please DO NOT AVOID any of the following ---> Cowgirl boots, cowgirl hats, rhinestones, bolo ties, big ol' belt buckles and chaps.
After the rodeo, we will be heading to our hotel on the coast in San Diego, Island Palms Marina Hotel http://www.islandpalms.com/ 2051 Shelter Island Drive

If you want to join for only this portion of the festivities, you can meet us at the hotel --- However, I think to maximize fun and make Rhianna feel super loved, we should all be together by rodeo time!! Getting ready is one of the best parts of the night and I know Rhianna would like to be able to spend that time with you all.
When we leave the hotel (in cabs) the PARTY IS ON!!!
The DRESS CODE for the going out portion of the evening is Black and/or White for the us girls and Rhianna will be RED! Hot, hot, hot. o, bust out your fave Little Black Dress, fun White dress or other combo of black and white (doesn't have to be a dress, could be black shorts with a balck and white top or any combo of black and white items or all black/all white). We are going to stand out on the dance floor and Rhianna is going to stand out the most!
The PRICE TAG!
So, ya'll the crappy part of course is the cost of the this shin dig. While we (the bridesmaids) will be covering some of the things ourselves, some things we will be asking you all to cover as well. Specifically, the rodeo tickets ($10), dinner ($15-$30 a person depending on where we go), drinks ($20-? depending on how much you'd live to drink =)), cab fare (about $10), and money for the hotel room (this will depend on the amount of girls who can attend but will be around $30 a person). Also, please keep in mind that we'll all want to pitch in a bit extra to pay for Rhianna's portion of these items. Most of these things we can pay as we go. I think the only thing we'll need to collect from you ladies is money for the hotel. If this seems too cost restrictive for you, please let me know. We'll try to work things out because the most important thing is that Rhianna have a great time and that means as many of you present as possible!!!!
The MORNING AFTER!! On Sunday morning we will be able to nurse our wounds and tell our favorite stories from the the previous night pool side at the hotel (hopefully with some bloody marys in hand). At that point, the official bachelorette party festivities will be over and we can relax and see where the day takes us. The car pool group will be heading back up to Orange County so folks can collect their cars. Although this can be decided later, I am guessing people will want to get started heading north around noon. If you have specific time constraints on Sunday, let us know and we'll work it out!
